Inspiring Futures is on a mission to improve high school and college educational outcomes for youth with current or past involvement in the child welfare, homeless, and juvenile justice systems through comprehensive and flexible mental health and academic support. In NYC the high school graduation rate for youth who have spent even one week in foster care is 21% and the college graduation rate is 3%, which is unacceptable, knowing how incredible these young people are. We work with any youth or young adult 14+ with current or past involvement in the child welfare system, juvenile justice system, or who has experienced youth homelessness or been an unaccompanied minor.
